My goal is to help people get smart on the world around them while saving them the most precious, finite resources we each have control over day-to-day: time and attention. I saw a market dislocation in that it’s incredibly hard to consume high-quality, unbiased, insightful news in today’s world that encourages ad-based, high volume, “clickbait-y” articles that often leave readers no better off than before having read it. Thus, I started this website and my newsletter
This website is meant to highlight the most high-quality content seen around the web weekly and shared among a community of people that are intellectually curious about the world around them. In an era where there are simply too many information streams, my goal was to create one uniquely curated stream that will open your horizons, challenge your assumptions, and force you to think more deeply about stories you read, the graphics you see, the music you listen to, and the information you consume.
I am a avid reader and tweeter, run a newsletter, and enjoy analyzing businesses and industries.
I’m passionate about music (listen to all genres but mainly rap/hip-hop), fitness (I love self-experimentation), sports (predominately the NBA and NFL), the environment (talk to me about climate change or visiting national parks), travel (I try to do 1 big international trip a year), and learning (I’m all for self-improvement).
I’ve lived in Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco.
I’m a first generation American – my parents emigrated here from a small state on the coast of India called Kerala. I’m also a middle child – I also have two sisters.
